This is a full body kit with head and limbs, it just doesn't have any printed faces or hair, but since the helmet covers the face, you can display this as is without issue.
Alpha, which is what I call this unofficial character, is an aesthetic continuance of Rishetta and Rishetta Freesia, in a mixed cyborg/casual sportswear sort of kit with Color A skin. It boasts a much higher degree of posability/articulation.
Aesthetics:
Alpha is a bit of an odd mix of being a cyberpunk cyborg wearing bodysuit parts and also billowing sleeves from the bicep down.
Apart from the exact same black and orange that the Rishetta kits use, she also has a splash of white on her three chest pieces and the bottom part of her heels, but no repeats of the Rishetta grey, nor the Freesia pastel yellow, which is just fine with me.
Her busts are fun, one pair being a modest A-cup with just a hint of underboob, a more adventurous C or D-cup with side boob and then the bustiest option which has its own gravitational field and has likely caused a silicone scarcity in some parts of the world, a Mai Shiranui style F or G-cup, all of which use the round peg and double tab connectors, like most of the newer 30MS kits.
It might be possible to swap out her bare abdomen with parts from other kits, but I'm not sure. Her bare thighs are not swappable, because they are entirely new parts, unique to this kit.
Mechanics/Compatibility:
The goal was to make a better posing 30MS kit and they did that by making the thighs move in two places, using a 'peanut' shaped internal structure and a cup (the bare thigh parts) that sit on it and give a slight extra bend.
The feet also have larger ankles which change their range for sharper foot bends.
The kit boasts better hip and waist articulation, but I don't see, feel or experience any differences here, they're the same as most 30MS kits. The only thing I can think of are the top part of the 'peanut' hips that are much more rounded than the usual thighs, but that comes at the cost of them looking like cyborg parts, so you're getting a bit of range at the cost of aesthetics. It's not exactly an improvement as much as a niche alternative.
There's a notable lack of hard points and you only have the upper back, one on each lower thigh behind the orange caps and under the soles of her feet. Most notably there is no lower back hard point.
The head parts are a little odd due to the neck part sticking into the back of the helmet instead of the 'head' part, which also sticks onto the back of the helmet.
I'm not sure, but it looks to me like it uses the bottom neck type that allows a head to tilt up and down, which should enable you to at least change the lower neck into a different skin color, if not both neck parts.
Everything else on the model can be swapped out. Arms, legs, whatever you want, you can replace them or use them on other kits.
Equipment:
3 pairs of Hands - Splayed open, holding and fists
Orange Ring Parts
Various unused spare parts used from other kits - Not useful apart from a black standard neck
Conclusion:
I think they made this an Option Parts set instead of a main line kit release, because they didn't feel secure in this design. From what I'm reading online, this is not a fleshed out kit, the new thigh joints are loose and I had to turn the knees upside down since the knee pegs were too loose to sit in the calves. You can tighten these things, but I can't lift the kit and put it down again without it falling over, because of how loose the thighs are, which means it can't get a full score.
Aesthetically it's all over the place. It's a cyborg, wearing a skin tight suit and relaxed sports wear. Pick a lane?
I do like the helmet and the bust options are good, not just because they're a little skimpy and fun, but because the details are actually really good, like the little skin bulges where the elastic presses on her breasts and that sort of stuff.
Maybe Beta will be better, but I suspect they might've used the same mold for the legs and thighs, making it a color swap *with the exact same problems*. We'll see.
