HG MS-06S Zaku II (Red Comet Ver.) 1/144

All the Origin Zaku kits are solid kits.
They’re generally a step above older kits and have some nice thought put into them.

This one is a reimagining of Char’s classic suit in a deeper red, rather than his classic desaturated salmon pink, which looks imposing.

The sides of the chest move inwards, giving you a better angle on the shoulders.
The eye moves left/right vis a tab under the chin, like most mono-eye kits.

This one comes with the classic zaku machinegun, a belt fed version with attachable box to its backpack, a bazooka and a massive anti material rifle (sniper), as well as two axes, one being in a ‘stored state’ for putting on its sideskirt.

There’s a large sticker sheet with detail stickers that you can choose liberally from. No color correcting stickers, which is nice.

I recommend a black panel liner to make all the details pop.
