It didn't receive much attention in the initial Gundam series, but after the mobile pod Ball met designer Hajime Katoki in Gundam 0083, it gained significantly more respect. This round sphere has been given many cool details in this Master Grade and has over 100 parts plus polycaps and clear Gundam stickers. Everything is cast in cool colors and can be beautifully displayed on its included base. It also includes 2 small mechanics and a seated pilot.

After building many kits this one intrigued me.
So I built it. Really easy to build. And easy to topcoat too. Overall construction is great and funny at the same time :D. The problem came with decals. As this is a vey old kit it has stickers and dry decals. Problem wit the second one is they are hard to conform to the convex surface. After many attempts I gave up and eyed big ones just to be OK-ish at the end.
If you want to go back in time and build something funny - go for it. If you want to be more precise with the build, I suggest getting waterslide decals. Below you can see finished build on custom made stand compatible with Action Base 1/4
It's not even a gundam, and it's still my favourite gunpla now. The only flaw in this are the two small panels next to the hatch that tend to pop off whenever you touch this thing, otherwise it's so very good. The uniform color and large, round panels make panel lining pretty much a necessity with this one. And it even comes with the stand. Everyone should have a Mobile Pod Ball.
I hesitated a bit when i got this kit but when i started to build this it became one of my favourite models. Superdetailed and so cool. Now i want at least one more of this and all the other versions of it. Easy a must have in your collection.
